More Summer Houses Articles Summer houses feature prominently in a new list of the top ten British and European B&B gardens.
The list, compiled by the Mirror Travel, includes the Old Rectory in Herefordshire which it describes as a "gracious Georgian house" in five acres of attractive grounds.
"In the middle of the Golden Valley, there's even a rotating summer house so you can see the garden from every angle as well as a croquet lawn and a multitude of roses," commented the paper.
Among the other quaint B&Bs to be included in the list is Domaine de Peyloubere in Le Gers, France, which is reportedly set in 35 acres of parkland and gardens.
The Mirror Travel commended this impressive setting, noting that the River Gers flows through part of the estate to create "a picuresque waterfall" while a large island and a summer house can also be found "tucked away in the woods".
Meanwhile, Kris Collins of Amateur Gardening magazine recently claimed that the 'grow your own' gardening trend is continuing to gather momentum despite industry experts predicting its downfall.
