More Log Cabins Articles A South Yorkshire garden has become home to a giant, 16ft snowman.
Karl Broadbent from Doncaster told the BBC he had decided to build the snowman after his daughters challenged him to make one as high as their house.
With the help of some friends and his children, not to mention some large buckets and ladders, Mr Broadbent spent six hours building the snowman which now stands as a stunning garden feature.
"After trying to fob the girls off at 10ft we realised they were not going to let us off," he said.
"In the end we got a bit stupid, as dads do, and we ended up with a 16ft snowman."
Homeowners aiming to enjoy the wintry atmosphere of their gardens this season could choose to invest in a cosy log cabin or garden office. According to a recent Ipsos Mori HTA study, 45 per cent of people are "likely" or "very likely" to visit a garden centre in the next year to look for a garden-related gift.
